3.1. Sign In / Sign Up

  1. If you want to be able to use our services, a one-time registration is necessary. The information we ask for is your e-mail address. In case we would introduce phone number verification in the future, we will (also) store your phone number from that moment on.

The information we process is: the date and time you log in, your full name, your email address, your IP address, the make and model of the device you are logging in with, the version of the operating system and the version of our app you have installed and use. +

  2. The purpose of this data processing is to provide you with an app that works as well as possible. We use the data to improve the service and its performance, for example by detecting and fixing possible errors in the software. +

  3. We process your data in this case because you give us permission to do so (when you accept this privacy statement) and to be able to execute our agreement with you.

3.3. Starting and stopping a rental + operating a lock

  1. To make payments, we use the services of several certified payment providers. When making a payment via our app, we collect the date, the transaction number and, depending on the specific payment provider, the IBAN number from the payment transaction. When paying by credit card, we store the last four digits of the credit card number. After payment, we receive payment details back from the payment provider. This includes the name of the account holder, the date on which the transaction took place and whether the payment was successful.

  2. The purposes of storing the payment information are: to ensure that a payment was successful and to be able to initiate refunds if necessary plus because we are legally obliged to keep track of who we do business with and to be able to detect misuse of the service. +
