Gayo and Nazza start strategic Collaboration

The Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management has initiated several Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) pilots, and Service Enabler Gayo has won a pilot project in the province of Zeeland and is also starting a project on the WUR (Wageningen University) campus.

The aim of both pilots is to make travel in the region smarter, more sustainable, and safer. Both employers and employees are participating in the research to maintain the region's accessibility, livability, and traffic safety.

Through a white-label Service Provider App developed by Gayo, travelers can plan, book, reserve, use, and pay for various mobility services. The app integrates with the Nazza back-end and the Nazza app via the TOMP interface to unlock shared bikes. Employees can easily select from various modes of transportation within the app, which allows for seamless planning, booking, and payment.

This level of convenience is designed to encourage employees, but also but also students and schoolchildren to leave their (parents)cars at home more frequently. Additionally, employers can set specific travel conditions for employees, which are integrated into the app, encouraging choices that align with company policies.

Gayo and Nazza are investigating the possibilities of launching a joint white-label service for bike operators. Gayo acts as a reseller of Nazza's services, primarily for the B2B closed-user group segment, such as pool bikes within companies and institutions. Several customers have already approached Gayo for these services.
